Full Description:
Prince of Wales American Regiment of Lieutenant-Colonel D'Veber, Commanding. Memorial. That the memorialists have endured the hardships attendant on the life of a soldier and have been in captivity where loathsome goals have been their abode. They have returned to their regiment and that upward of £400 sterling and clothing is now due them. Ask that D'Veber take such steps as will enable them to receive this. Signed by Sergeant James Leach and Corporal William Tyler on behalf of themselves and 76 non-commissioned officers and privates for clothing, and 19 for pay.
