Full Description:
John Thurman to [Carleton], No 2. As guardian to several orphans [and executor to the late Nicholas Roosevelt] on behalf of his four children, three girls and one boy he pleads their case consisting of a demand for restoration of a house in this city [New York?] being their property, and for rent for a house in Broadway on the Barrack List. Submits that plaintiffs are being denied justice: they are: Miss Elizabeth Rosevelt, Miss Sally Rosevelt, Samuel Bayard, Catherine Kirby, William Kirby. He cites as responsible Mr Mathews.
