Full Description:
[Carleton] to Lord North, two documents. No 107, regarding the appointment of Major-General Campbell as commander in Nova Scotia; and Brigadier-Generals: Musgrave, Fox, and McArthur as officers highly recommended who may be of considerable service to Campbell. No 108 regarding a requisition made by Governor Parr to Brigadier-General Fox for troops to be sent to the River St Croix region to remove trespassing American settlers encroaching on Nova Scotian territory. Fox had declined to comply until he had cleared the matter with Carleton. Also, Carleton forwards a copy of his letter to the President of Congress regarding a general court-martial decision taken on those charged with making and passing counterfeit bills and notes.
