Full Description:
Abstract of subsistence due Nicolas Broke, private soldier in the Maryland Loyalists. From 24 October 1778 until 24 June 1780, being 608 days at 6d per day, totalling £15 4s. Notes that when this Provincial unit embarked for Pensacola, Broke was ordered with Colonel Innes on the expedition to Georgia and remained with that officer for one year and eight months, after which he was directed to join the South Carolina Corps. During this time he received no pay. Signed by Lieutenant James Chalmers.
