Full Description:
[Carleton] to Lieutenant-Colonel Hewlett or officer commanding the troops embarked for the River St John's, Nova Scotia. New York. Number 101. To take command of the British and British American troops going to Nova Scotia. [In the margin is a list of these Provincial troops]. They must all be disbanded by the 20 October. To aid and assist there is Captain Prevost, Deputy Inspector. In case of septerations they are instructed to go on to the St John's River. Directions are given to Mr Colvill who is the Assistant Agent of the small craft there. The debarkation must not be delayed as the transports must return immediately to New York.
