Full Description:
David Bonnet, New Rochelle, Westchester County. Information sworn before William Smith. That a writ had been served against him by the Americans for what he knew not, but he learns it is on a pretext of enticing away a slave in the year 1776. The sum claimed was £200. He was ordered to quit the country on pain of being tied to a tree and receiving five hundred lashes.
