Major R Molleson to Major MacKenzie. Waggon Office. With regard to the settlement in Nova Scotia, the gentlemen appointed to carry out the plan are requesting that the Commander-in-Chief direct that an engineer be sent to choose a proper site for the town and to mark out the ground necessary to be reserved for the Crown's uses. They are induced to make this early application as they are informed some inconveniences have arisen at Shelburne with respect to this last essential point. Noted by Brigadier-General Fox that he is directed by the Commander-in-Chief to transmit the enclosed letter, the contents of which are approved of and recommended by him.
