Full Description:
John Pettit and James Aston. Information sworn before Chief Justice William Smith. They were privates of the 1st Battalion of the New Jersey Volunteers, and give an account of the ill-treatment and cruelty they met with on visiting friends in Sussex County, which included being jailed and having their heads shorn.
