Full Description:
Jotham Hawxhurst to Carleton. New York. Petition. The petitioner and his family were attached to the British laws and government but were obliged to abandon his estate in Westchester County in the begining of the state rebellion to avoid further prosecution. Served in the corps of Guides and Pioneers until he was discharged. Is to go with his wife and four children to Nova Scotia and asks relief.
