Full Description:
Breed Batcheller to Carleton. New York. Memorial. Served as a Captain with Burgoyne and was wounded and taken prisoner by the Convention of Saratoga. Exchanged at the peace and received some subsistence but not rations, quarters or fuel and having been sick is unable to pay his boarding and doctor's bills. Seeks a further quarter's more subsistence and other relief to enable him to go to Nova Scotia.
