Full Description:
William Crawford, New York to Carleton, a Memorial. He is a refugee from Shrewsbury, Massachusett's Bay and was allowed to receive £100 currency a year. Now finds his name off the list of refugees, it being understood [wrongly] that he had departed for Nova Scotia. The distressed state of his family obliged him to remain in New York. Asks for payment of the last quarter to enable him to travel to Halifax.
