Full Description:
Captain William Sutherland, Commissary-General's Office, New York to [Carleton]. Wishes £75 paid from his subsistence as captain in the Queen's Rangers in order to defray expenses of his voyage to America and to enable him to return to his family at Antigua. His son, Hugh, is a candidate for a ensigncy.
