Full Description:
Kezia Coffin to Carleton. A letter of Memorial from New York asking for help as another company had arranged an agreement to supply goods to the Garrison when her company had been doing that for some years, and her agreement had been refused incurring her with a loss of £3,000. She now sought some redress and a note on the back from Major Frederick Mackenzie, Deputy Adjutant-General, dated 4 October, referred it to the Board of Commissioners, with Robert Alexander as their President.
