Carleton to Richard FitzPatrick. A letter from New York aclnowledging receipt of correspondence with enclosures. Captain Archibald Campbell to succeed Major Alexander Campbell. Enclosed embarkation return of British regiments sent to Nova Scotia to be disbanded. The British Legion, Queen's Rangers and King's American Regiment were clothed for the year. Most of Royal Garrison Battalion in Bermuda wanted to go back to Europe with most entitled for Chelsea with others opting to stay, which was granted, also embarkation return of invalids from Nova Scotia to England. Five Companies to be disbanded.
