Full Description:
Fox to Carleton. A letter from Halifax regarding receipt of a document entitled 'A List of Necessities' from the Assistant Commissary-General on needs to be requisitioned to settle in Nova Scotia by discharged troops wishing to do so. This was also made by Governor John Parr and Lieutenant-Colonel Glasier of the 60th Regiment for men from two battalions intending to stay, plus, for others from British Regiments also wishing to stay, as well as for the settlers already there.
