Major James Gordon, 80th Regiment, to [General Sir Guy Carleton]. A letter from Kingsbridge stating reasons for his accompanyment of Captain Asgill who had been seized by the Americans, and his provision of funds from Mr Ryland, Deputy Paymaster to the Prisoners of War to cover costs.
