Full Description:
Lieutenant-Colonel Oliver De Lancey to Cornet Thomas Tucker. A letter from the Adjutant-General's Office, New York, stating that the Provost Martial would hand over Thomas May, a prisoner, and conduct him to Kingsbridge, to be handed over to the Commander of the American forces, on strict instructions that he would not return to British lines again. On certification of the discharge of the prisoner, return to Quarters. Certification duly signed by the American officer, and on return, acknowledgement signed by Cornet Tucker on the disposal of the prisoner.
