Full Description:
[General Sir Guy Carleton] to Governor John Parr. A letter from New York recommending John Hinchman as a man of good character, who lost a 'very handsome' estate as a consequence of his attachment to Government. He had been a member of the Assembly prior to the rebellion, and a Judge of the County Court in New Jersey.
