Full Description:
Cornelius Hetfield to Carleton. New York. Memorial. Is expecting to leave the city in a few days and anxious to retrieve his character from the unjust and ungenerous aspersions of Governor Livingston. Is under grateful and lasting obligation for the preservation of his life against the means taken by Livingston to deprive him of it. As he will not, in future, be living in his native country requests a copy of all the papers relative to this business in order to publish them for his vindication.
