New York. Account of cash necessary to be issued by Government to pay the discharged men of the British Legion going to England the balances allowed to be due to them by the commanding officer of that regiment, the subsistence which has been issued for that purpose having been misapplied. Balance due by Lieutenant Hovenden, paymaster, £267 4 1½d. Signed Captain Charles Handfield, paymaster, absent corps.
