Major Frederick Mackenzie to Major Upham. The Commander-in-Chief has ordered Benjamin Hunt £50. Wishes to know whether it should be in sterling or currency. [Answer] Thinks very well of Hunt who is very loyal, will make a good settler and seems in great distress. Wishes the sum may be sterling if agreeable to the General.
