Full Description:
Robert Morse, Chief Engineerx to Carleton. Halifax. Apologising that his report following his seven week tour of Nova Scotia is not yet complete. Expresses doubts that it will be finished before the British evacuate New York. His report will contain much information and detail. Further delays were caused by the brig 'Maria' in which he was travelling running ashore and sustaining damage and has been unable to put to sea for eight days. Addresses the possibility of not seeing Carleton again on this side of the Atlantic.
