Full Description:
Brook Watson, Commissary-General's Office to Major Mackenzie. The departure of a large body of troops [to England] will enable Watson to spare a considerable amount of supplies held in store. He suggests that these be sent to Nova Scotia for the Loyalists to see them through their first winter. He is anxious to send the cargo as soon as possible, including 2,000 barrels of flour and 250 barrels of pork. If the Commander-in-Chief was able to give authority this could be sent on the 'Prudent' departing soon.
