Full Description:
Charles Roubalet, Tavern Keeper, New York to Carleton. Claims that he rented rooms in his house to gentlemen attending a court martial for £400 per annum. Subsequently claimed from the Board of Claims for £250, but was told that he must travel to England to pursuet this. Is due to sail to Nova Scotia and asks that his claim be recognized by the Government so that he may pay his rent and satisfy his creditors.
