Full Description:
Carleton to Brigadier-General H Fox. New York. On the sending of two transports to Roseway and Annapolis [Nova Scotia] with the 37th and 57th Regiments; the issuing of a bounty of 165 days forage money to officers of the British American Corps lately disbanded within Fox's district; the necessity of continuing the employment of several people, lists of those nominated will be sent by the Adjutant-General; the shutting down of the Quartermaster-General's Department and the reduction of staff in all other departments.
