Full Description:
[Carleton] to Lord North. New York. Encloses a state of the army dated 10 instant and two embarkation returns. Praises the Hessian corps who he has embarked for Nova Scotia. Has received news that the missing transport with the Queen's Rangers has arrived safely at River St John's. Still hopes that a sufficient number [of transports] will arrive to enable him to complete the evacuation of New York in the course of this month.
