Full Description:
Henry Huff, a refugee from Cortlandt Manner (sic) Westchester County, to Carleton. New York. Petition. Following an earlier petition has received since 1 February 1781 a quarterly allowance of £9 which was paid punctually until sometime in July last. He is now refused his quarterly payment due 1 October. He is seventy-two, unable to support himself and has lost everything. because of his loyalty. Prays his case be taken into consideration and payment ordered. With certificates all signed and dated New York 14 November 1783 by William Walton, D. Kennedy, Samuel Lake, James Rupell and Joseph Baley.
