Has never received anything from Government except a dollar a day since 14 April 1781, his only support for some time past. Begs appointment to a vacant company in a provincial corps thereby entitling him to a captain's half-pay which he will consider as full compensation for all his losses and enable him to settle in Nova Scotia with some degree of comfort.
