Full Description:
Jeremiah Miller to Carleton. New London [Connecticut]. Is one of a number in Connecticut who wish him every blessing and a safe return to his native country. Is unable to resist expressing the exalted opinion he holds of his person and character. Believes a happy union might have been brought about if the King's affairs in America had been left in Carleton's hands another year. Laments this as much as he laments the loss of the greatest part of his estate by General Arnold's expedition against this town. Sends by one of his sons, a resident of New York, a cheese and six turkeys.
