Full Description:
James Creighton to Carleton. Memorial. That having served the King in both military and civil capacities during the war, finds it necessary to move with his family to seek residence under the British government. Intends to go to Dominica and that as only private passage is available to the island, requests such allowance may be made for the removal of himself, his wife and servant as he (Carleton) may think necessary. Endorsed 'To be paid to Dec 83'.
