Full Description:
Clark or Clarke Lawrence of Flushing Boundaries to Carleton. Petition. That in November 1779 Captain John Beck on the orders of Colonel Abijah Willard, Commissary for cattle and stock in Government service, arranged for the pasturing of large numbers of sheep and cattle. That he has made unsuccessful applications to Willard for payment. Willard has continued to use his services up to the very last moment which has led to the delay in sending in his claim to the Board. Asks that Willard be ordered to settle with him and hopes his application will not be prejudiced by its lateness.
