Full Description:
Abijah Willard. Memorandum. That a number of sheep belonging to the Crown were delivered to Clark Lawrence in 1779, as set forth in [Lawrence's] memorial, a great part of which were lost entirely through his carelessness. Repeatedly asked him to state his claim so that an allowance might be made if he appeared to deserve it. This he has never done owing to his constant drunkeness. Is convinced after charging him with property lost he has no claim.
