Full Description:
Brunswick. Articles (copy) in French setting out the terms on which the Duke of Brunswick cedes to the British for service in America a corps of 3,964 infantrymen and a corps of 336 light cavalry, the horses of which will not be needed as the cavalry will serve with the infantry. Should it prove necessary for the cavalry to be mounted, the British will provide the horses. The staff to accompany the corps is listed. The Articles are signed by Colonel William (Guillaume) Fancitt and J. B. de Feronce.
