Full Description:
John Campbell to Clinton. Headquarters, Penscola. Encloses the memorial from the officers of various corps praying for bat and forage money. He also asks that Lieutenant-Colonel Dickson, 16th Regiment, be given a daily allowance for the heavy expenses incurred during his time commanding on the Mississippi. The letter also mentions Captain Forster of the 16th Regiment and a Lieutenant Hugh McKay Gordon.
