Description:
VLF 52 is a 17th-c. paper codex, its leaves measuring c. 305 x 205 mm. Its watermark is an encircled crossbow. It is constructed of 3 quires of 1 bifolium and 4 quires of 2 bifolia, totalling 22 leaves (44 pages). The text is written by a single scribe in Littera cursiva. A contemporary hand added foliation, which differs from today's page order. The codex has a 17th-c. parchment binding. Paper flyleaves contain a watermark similar to Briquet 1180 (the Württemberger family crest).
