Full Description:
Washington to Howe. Headquarters, Morristown. Concerning prisoner exchanges. Major Edmonston who was sent down by General Schyler to go to New York upon parole to return or send out an officer of equal rank. Asks that if Major Williams of Colonel Rawlin's Battalion has not be returned, that he desires that Williams be the officer returned. If Williams has been returned he requests either Major Browne or Major Wells of Connecticut instead.
