Full Description:
Lord George Germain to General Sir William Howe. A letter from Whitehall acknowledging the receipt of a number of dispatches plus a private letter which were put before the King. It also contained praise on the successful attacks resulting in the capture of several forts and the destruction of enemy ships, opening up communication between Philadelphia and shipping, which pleased the King, and all at a smal cost.
