Full Description:
General Haldiman, Quebec to Clinton. Expresses disappointment that troops delayed by bad weather on board the 'Nancy' at Halifax remain there for the winter under the care of Brigadier-General Maclean. He has written to Maclean and Lieutenant-Governor Hughes in pressing terms asking that they be moved on to Halifax as soon as navigation allows as they are sorely needed. Also warns that enemy forces assembling at Skeensborough.
