Full Description:
Mary Driskill to Clinton. Petition. Is a widow belonging to the 10th Regiment. After her husband was killed at Chestnut Hill, she was taken prisoner and three times escaped from jail. Has lost her hearing from lying in the woods and has nothing to support herself and her infant children. Certified by F. Smith, Lieutenant Colonel to the 10th Foot, at Brooklyn, 27 November 1779.
