Major Henry Bruen and Major Archibald Robertson to Lieutenant-Colonel William Crosbie. New York. Also begs to enquire about the gentlemen employed before his appointment respecting these particulars, especially during the time of the great scarcity of fuel in the winter 1779 and 1780.
