Full Description:
Charles Richards, Refugee to Robertson. New York. Petition. Lived in a creditable way in the 'Jerseys'. Was imprisoned nine months in Morristown Jail, escaped and came within the lines (whither his wife and five children were sent later). Is reduced to greatest adversity. Certified by Lieutenant-Colonel Barton and Brigadier-General Skinner. A note by Thomas Murray orders rations for four weeks.
