Full Description:
Governor Benjamin Harrison to Carleton. Virginia. Has received his letters of 26 July and 5 August and is happy to find the sloop has been recovered and returned. Will endeavour to recover the value of the cargo from the captors at Egg Harbour. Encloses a valuation of the cargo. Expresses pleasure at the prospect of peace between Great Britain and America, sure that it will be for the mutual benefit of both countries.
