Full Description:
Mrs McDaniel to Carleton. Petition. She is over one hundred years of age and resides within the garrison in a lonely hut near Paulus Hook [New Jersey]. Has one daughter, a single woman upwards of sixty years of age. Has been supported by rations from the King's stores and had assistance from the officers. Her allowance having been stopped, she begs some support. With a certificate by Lieutenant-Colonel Graham of 42nd Regiment.
