Full Description:
Sergeant Thomas Willis to Carleton. Memorial. Recounting his services during the war. He is now rendered unfit for service by his wounds and wishes to return to his native land. Begs a birth in a garrison home. Signed, with a certificate, by Mayor D Mathews and Major Wemyss of the 63rd Regiment. Noted on the reverse that it 'Cannot be attended to'.
