Full Description:
[Carleton] to William Deane Poyntz, Deputy-Paymaster-General. New York. Number 4. Directing him to receive from Gregory Townsend, Assistant-Commissary the sum of £2,129 11s 3d and two thirds penny sterling, at 4s 8d per dollar, which he recieved for pork and beef sold to masters of transports for victualling their ships, and for beef sold by public auction. Also to grant him the necessary discharges.
