William Brown, Speaker of the Commons House of Assembly to Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Brown, Superintendent of Indian Affairs. St Augustine [Florida]. For the satisfaction of the inhabitants, particularly those on the western frontiers, enquiring for information on how far and how long the friendship of the neighbouring Indians can be trusted to on the present calamitous state of the province. Asking that Thomas Brown exert his interest and influence.
