Full Description:
Alured Clarke to Major Mackenzie. New York. Sends his commission and instructions as Commissary of Musters for the Foreign Troops, and asks that these be laid before Carleton in order that he may grant a warrant for that part of the pay which has usually be issued in this country, Mr Collyer, his agent, having written that he is only able to obtain from the Treasury that part which has hitherto been issued at home.
