Full Description:
Brigadier-General Henry Edward Fox, Halifax, to Carleton. Arrival report, including confirmation of delivery to Governor Parr, Carleton's despatches. His predecessor, Major-General Paterson, sails next week. Fox informed Paterson of Carleton's command that an enquiry might be made into the matter of an officer of the 74th Regiment who killed a German officer at Penobscot and then fled. Paterson is carrying the entire proceedings with him.
