Full Description:
Quakers to Carleton. [Sent to Governor Parr on 9 August.] A Memorial from a group of 60 Loyalist Quaker families who have come to settle on the River St John's, in Nova Scotia but have been unable to find an unoccupied suitable site. In view of this disappointment they wish the Governor to grant them land elsewhere on which to settle. [See Item No 8672]
