Full Description:
Rear Admiral Digby to Carleton. New York. Regarding the availabilty of ships to take 1,100 more refugees to Nova Scotia. Nothing currently ready but a few ships being fitted for troop ships and one or two just come from the West Indies will be ready soon. Therefore asks if Carleton thinks use may be made of them. Post script refers to a copy of a letter enclosed which is not there.
